Mark Zuckerberg is the Founder of Facebook. He attended Harvard University but later dropped out to focus on Facebook. Zuckerberg was fortunate because he was raised in a well-educated family. He had an interest in programming beginning in elementary school. At age 12 he programmed a messenger called "ZuckNet". In high school he wrote another program that created music algorithms. He attended the Academy of Phillips Exeter and in 2002 went to Harvard.
Debbie Sterling is the Founder of GoldieBlox, a toy company that produces toys geared towards exposing girls to engineering. She graduated from Stanford with Engineering(2005).
